Austin City Limits (ACL) is a long-running American TV music program that records live performances in front of an audience at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas. It has been on air since 1974, making it the longest-running music program in American TV history.
The ACL logo features Skin & Bones, a display typeface inspired by the Bauhaus movement and created by Douglas F. Jones for Visual Graphics Corporation during the phototypesetting era. Although FontBank, Inc. released a digital version called Skinny in the early 1990s, it had incomplete characters.
