Books-A-Million is a retail chain that sells books, magazines, toys, and technology products. It operates over 200 stores in 32 states in the US, as well as an online store. Clyde W. Anderson started a newsstand in Florence, Alabama in 1917, which later became the foundation for the chain.
The logo of the book chain incorporates caps that bear a resemblance to Eagle Bold, a sans-serif font created by Morris Fuller Benton. This font was originally based on the Blue Eagle logo of the National Recovery Association.
