Broken Sword is a 1996 point-and-click adventure game co-written and directed by Charles Cecil and developed by Revolution Software. It is the first in the Broken Sword series where the player assumes the role of George Stobbart, a tourist in Paris who is drawn into the mystery surrounding an evil cult and its search for a secret treasure. The box cover for Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars the first game in the series, is shown above.
Two font are used here, Ovidius Script for the “Broken Sword" part by Thaddeus Szumilas, and FF Confidential for “The Shadow of the Templars” part created by Just van Rossum.
