George of the Jungle is a 1997 American comedy film directed by Sam Weisman. The story is about a man raised in the jungle by apes who must navigate life in the modern world when he is brought back to civilization.
The George of the Jungle title is similar to a glyphic sans serif typeface called Lithos Black. Lithos was designed by Carol Twombly for Adobe Systems in 1989 and is based on the plain, geometric letterforms found on Ancient Greek inscriptions.
