Girls Beyond the Wasteland is a light novel series written by Koegakiko and illustrated by Eretto. It is a slice-of-life story about a group of high school students who are passionate about creating an original video game. The series has been adapted into a manga and anime series that premiered on January 7, 2016.
The anime's title is written in the sans serif Gotham Ultra font for the lowercase letters and Auriol Black for the three capital letters. The art nouveau painter and designer Georges Auriol's handwriting served as the inspiration for Peignot's Auriol decorative serif, which was introduced in 1901.
