Kerrang! is a UK-based magazine devoted to metal, punk, and rock music. It features interviews with artists and bands, reviews of new releases, and coverage of music festivals and concerts. It was first published on 6 June 1981 as a one-off supplement in Sounds, then appearing fortnightly, and now appearing weekly.
Druk Condensed Super Italic is used on the nameplate. Designed by Berton Hasebe and distributed by Commercial Type in 2014, Druk is a family of display sans-serifs. It is offered in three widths, each with several italic and weight options.
