Lego Island is a Lego-themed action-adventure game developed and published by Mindscape. It was released for Microsoft Windows on September 26, 1997, as the second Lego video game and the first outside Japan. The game is set on the fictional Lego Island, where the player controls a character named Pepper Roni, who is tasked with helping to restore order to the island after it has been invaded by the Brickster, a criminal mastermind made of Lego bricks.
Neuland Inline D is the font used for the “island” part of the Lego Island game logo. Neuland, a typeface created in 1923 by Rudolf Koch for the Klingspor Type Foundry, is usually used when an "exotic" or "primitive" appearance is required in reference to African or African-American context.
