Machete is a 2010 American exploitation action film written and directed by Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis. The film centers around Machete (Danny Trejo) a former Mexican Federale, who roams Texas streets as a vigilante after nearly being killed by a powerful drug lord. He is double-crossed while performing a covert hit and forced to flee. In his quest for vengeance, Machete carves a path of blood, bullets, and broken hearts.
Aachen Medium was probably used for the poster's film title, which had 3D text effects. In 1969, Colin Brignall, the type director of Letraset, designed Aachen to fulfill a need for a contemporary, heavy Egyptian font. You can view more details about it here.
