The North Face is a brand that specializes in outdoor apparel, equipment, and accessories. It was founded in 1966 in San Francisco, California by Douglas Tompkins and Kenneth "Hap" Klopp. A slanted quarter-circle with two inside lines and the logotype on the left side make up The North Face's logo.
The logo's typeface is strikingly similar to Helvetica Bold, a sans serif designed by Swiss typeface designer Max Miedinger and Eduard Hoffmann. Helvetica Bold is a commercial font and you can purchase and download the font here.
