Palm was a pioneering smartphone manufacturer in the late 90s and early 2000s known for their PDA and smartphone devices such as the Palm Pilot and Treo. The company was eventually acquired by HP in 2010 but the brand and technology was later sold to TCL Communication. After its acquisition by HP, a hybrid HP Palm logo was adopted with the same typeface from its previous orange logo.
