Papyrus is a widely recognized typeface that was designed by Chris Costello in 1982, characterized by its irregular edges, mimicking the look of ancient writing on papyrus scrolls. Its unique and often overused style is associated with themes of antiquity and has been notably used in movie titles, logos, and various types of digital media.
Papyrus is a commercial font although we found a free alternative called Parchment MF which is available free to download in the Fonts Used section.
