Sears was a department store chain in the United States that sold a variety of products including clothing, appliances, and electronics. It was owned by Sears Holdings Corporation until it filed for bankruptcy in 2018.

The font used for the Sears logo resembles Helvetica 35 Thin with minor adjustments made to the letter "a". The previous version of the logo also utilized Helvetica but incorporated a font called Dilema, created by Harold Lohner, to imitate the inline lettering.
