Spotlight is a 2015 American biographical drama film directed by Tom McCarthy and written by McCarthy and Josh Singer. The film is based on the true story of the "Spotlight" team of investigative journalists at The Boston Globe, who in 2002 uncovered the widespread sexual abuse of children within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, Massachusetts.
Minion Pro Display Condensed Bold, a graceful Adobe Original font created by Robert Slimbach, is the font used for the Spotlight movie's title in the poster. Pathway Gothic One, a narrow grotesque sans created by Eduardo Tunni and made available under the Open Font License, serves as the sans serif for the credits text above the movie's title.
