The Girl on the Train Font

The Girl on the Train is a psychological thriller novel by Paula Hawkins. The story follows the life of a divorced, alcoholic woman who becomes embroiled in a missing person's investigation after witnessing something troubling from the window of a train.

The Girl on the Train title lettering on the book cover uses a geometric sans-serif font called Avenir Medium. The typeface Avenir was created in 1988 by Adrian Frutiger, influenced by earlier geometric sans-serifs such as Futura and Erbar.
