The Proud Family [TV Show] Font

The Proud Family is an American animated television sitcom that aired on the Disney Channel from 2001 to 2005. The series focuses on the adventures of a middle-school student named Penny Proud and her diverse family as they navigate the challenges of everyday life with heart and humor.

The logo of the TV series uses a combination of fonts, the “PROUD” part is set in a comic font called Playhouse from House Industries and “THE FAMILY” part uses a display typeface ITC Garamond Ultra by Tony Stan. ITC Garamond was originally available in Book and Ultra weights but was later released in Light and Bold weights in 1977 due to its popularity in these weights.
