The Secret of NIMH is a 1982 animated fantasy adventure film directed by Don Bluth, based on the 1971 children's novel Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. In this film, a group of lab rats given intelligence-enhancing drugs team up with a widowed mouse named Mrs. Brisby to save her home and family from being destroyed by farmers.
The Secret of NIMH title in the poster uses ITC Benguiat, designed by Ed Benguiat in 1978. Benguiat letterforms are heavily influenced by the Art Nouveau typefaces.
