Thirty Seconds to Mars, commonly stylized as 30 Seconds to Mars, is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1998.
The logo above is the first logo for the group, as can be seen on their self-titled debut album. The logo features the band name in a sans serif font, probably Bank Gothic. Next to the bold “30″ are four vertically aligned symbols. There is no explanations from the band as to the meaning of these symbols, but some holds that they symbolize each of the four terrestrial planets or simply represent the band’s name.
This logo can be seen from their second album A Beautiful Lie, and the font used is probably Helvetica Neue.
Logo from the third album This Is War, released in December, 2009. The font used is Gotham Bold.
Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams, the fourth album from Thirty Seconds to Mars, saw a logo set in geometric sans. The font used is Futura.
